I've been in boats most of my life too-but not quite to your extent there...and the only time I've ever gotten sick before was in a sailboat. Never in a kayak or a boat with an engine. I wish I could get a 'redo' on that moment-I really would have liked to enjoy paddling in the Pacific. It was pretty neat to see the sealions though...just wish I could have been able to enjoy it! -t
